We started in 2022.

In an earlier career, Pogo (Bass), Robby (Drums) and I had been playing together in a band called ABSOLUTE, but later continued in a band called BREITENBACH. In 2022 we met with Norman (Guitar) from THE NEW ROSES and decided to start a whole new project. New name, new music, more rock n roll. He left the band though in the beginning of 2024 due to a full schedule with his main band.

Our style is defined by hard-rockingt guitar-riffs and melodic rock-vocals, that remind of Mammoth WVH or Stone Sour or Audioslave. We use stomping drum-beats and big portion of rock 'n roll attitude.

We all derive from and reside in the Rhein-Main area, thus our homebase has always been Frankfurt. 

We have been playing a few rock-festivals and clubs in the area, like Rock auf der Burg or Orscheler Sommer or Rockspektakulum in Herne. 

As POWER STATE we have released two singles "Not my nation" and "Lion's fight" and have two singles in the release-pipeline for the summer of 2024.

In cooperation with Nils Knecht and Holger Schader from Attic Sound Studio and Ulli Schiller from Studios 301 Germany we are working on our full-lenght debut-album. 

Since Normans departure we have reformed as a power-trio and we promise hot and fast-paced live-shows!
